Our Aim: To foster and develop excellence and recognition of arts and crafts in the Plantagenet Shire and surrounding districts with Mitchell House as the centre
In the approximately 37 years we have leased Mitchell House from the Shire of Plantagenet we have provided a focal hub for art and culture in the community. We provide a space for emerging artists that is accessible by the whole community
Gallery opening times:
Local Gallery Exhibitions open Friday, Saturday & Sundays – 10 – 4. Other days open for specific exhibitions check facebook pages for school holiday or other special event times.
Art Groups – Painting Wednesdays 10-2,
Pottery Tues 2-4pm Thurdays 10-2pm (except public holidays and over the Christmas new year break)

A Variety of activities and visual arts programs
We offer arts activities that are used by a variety of groups including the aged, disabled, widowed, and these groups become a support, offering not only development of arts skills but also social interactions and strong connections, purpose, and a way into the community for newcomers to the district.
